As a freelance French Horn player, Mr. Heath Allen has performed frequently with orchestras throughout southern and eastern Ontario including the Niagara, London, Windsor, Kingston, Kitchener-Waterloo, Oshawa-Durham, Royal Opera Canada, Brampton Lyric Opera and Opera Kitchener. In 2012, he went on tour in China with the Ontario Festival Orchestra.

Heath is currently the Principal Horn with the Oakville Symphony Orchestra, a position he has held since 1994. He is also the former Principal Horn with the Kindred Spirits Orchestra and performs as associate principal with the Burlington New Millennial Orchestra.

Mr. Allen also performs with Intrada Brass of Oakville and coaches’ brass and winds for the Oakville Symphony Youth Orchestra. Heath has performed as a soloist with the Oakville Symphony, the Oakville Chamber Orchestra and Intrada Brass. He continued his vocal work as the bass section leader with the Oakville Choral Society and a brief stint as the Music Director with the Ferndale Baptist Church in Scarborough, Ontario.
