Pamela Van Weelden received her Bachelor of Music from Western University and then went on the Althouse Teacher's College. She taught elementary school part-time and worked as a church musician while her three daughters were young. She always loved to play the piano and eventually decided to return to school to complete her Masters degree in piano performance from the University of Toronto. She has the Licentiate and Fellowship Diplomas from Trinity College of Music, London, England, an ARCT from the Royal Conservatory and an Associate Diploma in Organ from the Western Ontario Conservatory of Music. Pamela is also a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique and an RCM examiner. She enjoyed teaching piano at both McMaster University and Mohawk College in Hamilton, until her recent retirement. Pamela lives in Brantford, where she is enjoying her retirement singing in the Grand River Chorus, clog dancing, and spending time with her ten grandchildren.
